Just a quick note to wish you a happy 2006 and to thankyou for arranging our holiday in Sicily. We had a great time, Taormina is a beautiful city, and the climate for our week away was excellent. Stromboli was superb!
We enjoyed meeting you in the beautiful setting of the square in Castiglione. Villa Gussio was beyond belief - life a modern day palace - and the food was first class. It almost seems like 'overkill' the 4 upstairs dining rooms exquisitely curtained and furnished - and the tables set. You should have no hesitation sending guests there - it is exquisite. We visited the Roman Villa Casale with the best preserved and complete mosaiics we have seen and rated it highly. Overall we had a great trip, Stromboli - a life time ambition for me - was even better than I had expected. The frequency of the explosions rising to nearly 300 metres in difference shapes and noise levels was superb. And Etna - in the clear spring air, snow covered against a clear blus sky was hugely photogenic. The golf courses were good and challenging - and we would play them again. Many thanks again. We had a fantastic holiday. The golf course was excellent. Perfect greens and the service we received there was excellent too. Everything was so efficient.The car was in excellent condition and again the service we received at the airport was excellent. We loved the house. It was well equipped and in a superb location. It gave a real sense of experiencing Sicily. On the whole, Sicily is an excellent destination, the people are so friendly and willing to help.
