La Foresteria at Il Picciolo Golf Club

Originally the guesthouse of the 19th century wine and hazelnut farm ‘La Foresteria' is situated right in the middle of the green lower lava fields of the volcano Etna, and has been restored and transformed into a Il Picciolo's Clubhouse and hotel. Nowadays, it has 16 well furnished rooms all with satellite television and modern facilities. Some rooms have a French balcony and others are mansard rooms, all overlooking the golf course. The hotel is is surrounded by chestnut trees and hazelnuts.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunches and dinners. Within 10 minutes drive you will find more restaurants in Castiglione, Linguaglossa and Randazzo (the medieval town of Taormina is only a half hour away!). Located on the slopes of Mount Etna it's relatively cool in summertime and cozy in wintertime.
