Do I need to pay for my holiday by credit card online?

No, there is no need to pay at the time of booking. You will receive an invoice within two days after the moment of booking together with the confirmation email and the vouchers. Payment of the invoice can be done either by bank transfer or by credit card.

When do I need to pay for my holiday?

When you have booked your holiday you will receive a confirmation of your booking with all vouchers and an invoice within 2 days. An initial payment of 30% of the invoice is required within 10 days to secure a reservation. Final payment of the remaining 70% is due 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. If booked fewer than 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival, full payment is due upon booking. The invoice needs to be paid within 10 days by bank transfer or credit card.

When I have made a booking, can I still cancel?

Yes, you can cancel your booking within 2 days without any costs. Cancellation needs to be in writing (i.e. by email). After 2 days a cancellation fee of 25 Euro per person administration costs will be applied up to 45 days before arrival. For our full payment and cancellation policy read our terms and conditions.

Do I pay a booking fee when booking with SicilyGolf?

No, we don't apply a booking fee to our clients for holiday packages or 'stay and play packages' booked online. Our prices already include an agency fee paid for by the suppliers. You pay less or the same for your holiday, golf or hotel as if you would pay booking directly at the suppliers. Only for special personalized tailor made packages we may apply a booking fee.

Do you also provide assistance during our golf holiday?

Yes, we have our office in Sicily and you can reach us always during working hours. When booking with us we will provide you with a mobile telephone number that can be reached 24-hours in case of emergency. We have always a local assistant ready to help you if you have any difficulties.

Why don’t I find all hotels in Sicily on your website?

We have hand picked the hotels on our website, based on quality, price, atmosphere and authenticity. We know the owners/hosts of the hotels well and regularly check their quality. We regularly add or remove hotels from our website to offer the best hotel options around the golf clubs.

Can I also book a (golf) holiday package or hotel that is different to the packages I find on your site?

Yes, you can. We are happy to tailor make a special holiday package for you. Just get in touch with us by mail or phone and we will discuss the possibilities.

Are there more than two golf courses in Sicily?

At the moment there are only two 18-holes golf courses in Sicily. Furthermore there are two practice facilities: one in Palermo and one near Catania/Siracusa. Other courses are being built, but are not expected to be open before 2010.

How is it to play in winter time in Sicily?

Apart form the occasional shower in winter. Sicily has a great climate to play golf all year round.

Are there any SPA-facilities on the golf courses?

At Il Picciolo Golf Club the SPA-facilities open soon (probably in July 2008). At Le Madonie Golf club the hotel and Spa facilities are expected to open in Summer 2009

Are their any direct international flights to Sicily?

Yes, there are many direct international flights from Spain, Germany, UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Russia. Check our Travel information page for more details.

Can I get more information or photos about the hotels on your site?

At the moment you can not get more info online, but you can send us an email and we are happy to provide you with more information.

Is it also possible to get transfers to and form the golf courses instead of a rental car?

Yes we can arrange transfers. However we strongly suggest to our clients to book a rental car. The golf courses are out of town, public transport is not very good in Sicily and taxis are expensive.

I don’t speak Italian…. How can I get around in Sicily?

If you book with SicilyGolf you can download all route descriptions in English from our website. Most of the hotels we work with have English speaking staff. In case you have any difficulties you can contact us for assistance at any time.
