La Foresteria , Il Picciolo Golf Club

Originally the guesthouse of the 19th century wine and hazelnut farm ‘La Foresteria' is situated right in the middle of the green lower lava fields of the volcano Etna, and has been restored and transformed into Il Picciolo's Clubhouse and hotel. Nowadays, it has 16 well furnished rooms, all with satellite television and modern facilities. Some rooms have a French balcony and others are mansard rooms, all overlooking the golf course. The hotel is is surrounded by chestnut trees and hazelnuts.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunches and dinners. Within 10 minutes drive you will find more restaurants in Castiglione, Linguaglossa and Randazzo (the medieval town of Taormina is only a half hour away!). Il Nido dell’Etna, Linguaglossa

The family owned, modern style “Nido dell’Etna” Hotel is situated 300 meters from the centre of Linguaglossa on the slopes of Mt. Etna.

This recently restored former winery is beautifully situated on the slopes of Mt Etna in Castiglione di Sicilia. The old farmhouse has been transformed into a small, luxurious hotel with a large swimming pool, tennis court and a practice green for golf. It has a magnificent view of Mount Etna, the old lava flows and the vineyards around it.

The building is characteristic of 19th century Sicilian farmhouses and combines charm with modern and functional comforts. The surrounding garden is spacious and the bar/restaurant has a big terrace for dining, an aperitif or a glass of wine.
